Upendra defends Prem's hype for Jogayya

Director Prem must have been criticised by film critics and people from his own industry for creating too much of hype for his latest movie Jogayya, but he has received praises from popular director-cum-actor Upendra, who is working with him in his upcoming movie Gandhinagara Mahathme. Yes! Real star Uppi has defended Prem's promotional strategy and creating hype for Shivaraj Kumar's 100th film.

In an exclusive interview with Chitraloka.com, Upendra expressed his disappointment over many people's criticism against Prem's creating hype for his film Jogayya. He said that the film would not have received such a humongous opening, if Prem had not spoken highly about it.

Meanwhile, Upendra expressed his happiness over the good run of the movie Jogayya. He added that Shivanna has given a fantastic performance in the film. “We should equally say that Prem has toiled hard to make this film and his efforts are being complimented by the way people jammed the theaters in the opening week," the Chitraloka quotes Upendra as saying.
