Upendra's Godfather to be launched on April 28

Real star Upendra's new movie, which has been titled Godfather, will start shooting from this weekend. The film is a remake of Tamil hit movie Varalaaru. Its muhurtha will be performed at a grand function to be held at Abbaiah Naidu studios in Bangalore on Thursday, April 28.

It was reported earlier that the film Godfather would be launched on April 25. But K Manju wanted to have a big function for the muhurtha of the film. He needed time to create a huge set for the event at Abbaiah Naidu studios. So he had to delay the movie launch function by three days.

Godfather is being produced by K Manju and directed by Sriram. Upendra will essay three different roles and Simran is making a comeback to Kannada through this film. Ramesh Bhat is also playing an important role in the film.
