reportedly
been
put
on
hold
due
to
some
unknown
reason.
The
film
was
to
be
a
remake
of
hit
Malayalam
movie
Udayananu
Thaaram.
And
it
was
to
be
produced
by
none
other
than
Munirathna.
Now,
the
sources
claim
that
project
has
been
shelved
and
another
alternative
project
is
being
envisaged.
Earlier,
it
was
rumoured
that
Super
actor
Upendra
would
play
the
lead
role
in
the
remake
of
Mohanlal-Meena
starrer
hit
Malayalam
movie.
Instead
of
direction,
Ee
Preethi
Eke
Bhoomi
Melide
star
would
essay
an
important
role
in
it.
Sources
had
claimed
that
the
Pooja
and
Muhurtha
of
this
remake
would
be
held
on
February
09.
But
now,
the
rumours
are
making
rounds
in
Gandhinagar
that
the
planned
muhurtha
of
the
Kannada
remake
has
been
postponed
to
an
unknown
date.
Meanwhile,
it
is
also
rumoured
that
Upendra
is
now
busy
with
the
post-production
works
for
Tamil
and
Telugu
versions
of
Super.
He
would
start
shooting
for
Malayalam
director
Aneeesh
Varma's
film
in
March
after
completing
the
works
of
Super.
He
would
be
teaming
up
with
Malayalam
actress
Bhavana
for
the
film.
