Late actress Soundarya's properties create rift in family

The properties of late actress Soundarya, who died in a plane crash in 2004 along with her brother Amarnath, have created a rift in the family. Well, the actress' family is now divided over her possessions and have reached the court for a solution.

Reports say that Soundarya's 50-crore worth properties have become the bone of contention. The late actress owned six properties, gold ornaments and other assets. As per the will, Sathvik, the son of Amarnath, was bequeathed a house, and an under-construction house was a joint property of the family.

It is said that the money, which comes from the selling of the house, was supposed to be divided between her mother, brother's family and her family; and this property has now being the issue for fight. However, the controversy broke out after Sathvik moved the court alleging that his grandmother is not respecting the will. However, Raghu, the ex-husband of Soundarya, supported Manjula in the issue.

Meanwhile, Soundarya's sister-in-law filed a defamation case against Manjula and Raghu. The court has ordered them to appear before the court on November 2.
