A film unit causes embarrassment to Dr Veerendra Heggade

While Harshika Poonachha shared her joy of shooting her film Ale in Dharmasthala and meeting Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade on a social networking site, there remained an untold story of their visit to the renowned Hindus shrine. Well, the film unit of the forthcoming Kannada film caused an embarrassing situation to Heggade during their visit.

A leading tabloid has thrown light on the episode where Harshika Poonachha and Thanush ties the knot in the climax of Ale in Dharmasthala. The film unit, which goes to the abode of Lord Manjunatha to shoot the last phase, meets Veerendra Heggade and seeks his blessings. They also pay respect to the Dharmadhikari by presenting him a shawl, peta and fruits.

After felicitating the Dharmadhikari, the makers of the film wanted to shoot a scene involving Harshika Poonachha and Thanush seeking his blessings, and they were all set to shoot. All these developments happened without bringing into the notice of Veerendra Heggade and till the last moment he thought that Harshika and Thanush were real life couple.

As Veerendra Heggade acted before in a scene realised that the Ale unit was trying to get him pictured for the film, he hurriedly left the place. Later, the film unit tendered apology to him.
