Anil Kumble bowls over audience on Kannadada Kotyadhipati

It was an entirely different ball game for legendary bowler Anil Kumble when he participated in the television show, Kannadada Kotyadhipati. It was the cricketer's turn to face googlies in the form of questions thrown by Power Star Puneet Rajkumar on the game show. The Jumbo, the pet name of Anil, like other celebrities, took the platform to raise fund for a cause.

Anil Kumble along with his wife Chethana and kids (son Mayas and daughters Svasti and Aaruni) were welcomed with a huge round of applause on Kannadada Kotyadhipati. Puneet Rajkumar started off the game by airing a short-clipping, which briefed about the Jumbo's personal and professional lives. Interestingly, the Jumbo took the audience by surprise by speaking fluently in Kannada, as many have hardly seen him speaking in the local language on social platforms.

As the game progressed, the other side of Anil Kumble was getting unfolded where he opened up about his family, profession, passions and interests. The cricketer, who was known as the maths genius in the Indian cricket team during his playing days, played the game with ease and answered most questions without second thoughts.

However, so far Anil Kumble has managed to answer right answers for 11 questions and used one lifeline of 'audience poll'. He has four more questions and has two lifelines in his hands to answer them. The remaining portion of the game will be aired today (June 14).
