Anushka-Kajal in race to romance Darshan

Mangalore girl Anushka Shetty and Magadheera actress Kajal Aggarwal are in the race to romance Challenging Star Darshan in his next movie Bulbul. The makers of the film have offered the female lead role to them and awaiting their approval.

According to reports, director MD Shridar has approached Anushka Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal to play the female lead role in Bulbul. The filmmaker believes that the heroine"s role in the upcoming Kannada movie is powerful, hence they want a big name opposite Darshan.

The buzz is that Anushka Shetty is highly likely to sign Bulbul, as she is keen to make her debut in the Kannada film industry. Nonetheless, nothing has been finalised. The upcoming movie is expected to hit the floors in May.
