Anushka Sharma's fluent in Kannada

Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma is basically a Punjabi kudi. But little less we knew that she is not very fluent in her mother-tongue rather she is good in Kannada language. Yes, as she spent many years living in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, the actress is fluent in Kannada.

"Anushka has spent a major part of her life in Bangalore. So, as a result of spending many years in that part of the South, she's quite fluent in that language," the Times of India quoted a source as saying.

The actress, who made her debut in Bollywood in Shahrukh Khan's Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, did her schooling and college in Bangalore itself. It is only after the graduation, she moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in modelling.

However, Anushka Sharma, who is busy with her upcoming Hindi movie Bombay Velvet, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, is yet to act in a Kannada film!
