Dandupalya following Bheema Theeradalli footsteps

Dandupalya seems to be following the footsteps of Bheema Theeradalli, which was rechristened as Chandappa after its release. The Pooja Gandhi starrer film is likely to be renamed after the people of Dandupalya requested the makers of the film to change the title.

On Saturday (14 July), the film crew visited Dandupalya to meet the people in the localities and get their opinion about the recently released Kannada movie. Though Pooja Gandhi and other team members were welcomed by the people, they expressed their unhappiness over the title claiming that it is showing their place in a bad light.

During the interaction with the people, Pooja Gandhi and director Srinivasa Raju assured them to change the tile of the movie if it has hurt their sentiment. However, it is not sure about when his new decision will be implemented as it involves a lot of complications.

Recently, Duniya Vijay starrer Bheema Theeradalli landed in trouble for a similar kind of reason after the people of Bheema basin raised objection regarding the title. Later, the actor visited the place to calm down the situation and rechristened the title of the movie in order to make the people happy.
