Darshan to star in Brindavanam remake

After Bulbul, which is a remake of Telugu film Darling, Darshan has signed yet another remake film. The Challenging Star has given his nod to act in the Kannada version of Tollywood movie Brindavanam, which starred Junior NTR, Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha.

K Madesh, who had directed films like Gaja and Hudugaru, will be helming the project and Suresh Gowda is producing the film. The hunt for the female lead is on and it is said that a top actress from South India will be roped in to pair up with Darshan.

When asked on preferring remake films in the recent years, Darshan said that the story and subject only matter to him. If the script suits his image, the actor does not mind whether the film is original or a remake.

Currently, Darshan is busy with his mega-budget films Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna and Virat. The actor has also given green signals for Om Prakash Rao's tentatively titled Bheema and Mahesh Sukhadhare's Bhairava.
