Gorgeous
Deepika
Padukone
started
her
acting
career
in
Kannada
film
industry
with
the
film
titled
Aishwarya
starring
Upendra.
After
making
her
debut
in
Sandalwood,
the
Bangalore-based
girl
went
on
to
make
big
in
Bollywood
and
never
returned
to
Kannada
films.
Now,
the
time
seems
to
be
setting
again
for
her
comeback,
as
she
has
been
reportedly
offered
Upendra
2,
directed
by
none
other
than
Uppi
himself.
Rumour
mills
have
it
that
Upendra,
who
is
known
for
casting
big
names
as
his
female
leads,
has
offered
the
forthcoming
movie
to
Deepika
Padukone.
The
actress,
who
always
wished
to
do
Kannada
films,
is
considering
the
offer
and
is
working
out
dates.
However,
the
question
that
is
making
the
traders
to
keep
their
fingers
crossed
is
the
'remuneration
part'.
Deepika
reportedly
gets
somewhere
around
Rs
4.5
to
5
crore
per
film,
and
Sandalwood
could
not
afford
to
pay
that
price
for
the
actress.
In
the
recent
times,
Shriya
Saran
and
Nayantara
said
to
have
got
huge
remuneration.
However,
Deepika's
paycheque
is
almost
10
times
bigger
than
that
of
Shriya
and
Nayan.
But
it
is
said
that
Deepika
may
accept
the
offer
for
a
less
remuneration
considering
that
she
shares
a
good
rapport
with
Upendra.
Upendra
has
neither
confirmed
the
news
nor
denied.
When
we
called
him,
the
Real
Star
said
that
he
would
be
in
a
position
to
talk
about
the
cast-crew
only
after
the
completion
of
the
scripting
work.
