The
month
November
is
turning
out
to
be
a
biggest
month
of
the
year
for
Sandalwood,
as
a
couple
of
much-hyped
flicks
are
releasing.
It
was
all
started
with
the
release
of
Darshan's
Kranthi
Veera
Sangolli
Rayanna,
which
has
emerged
as
the
biggest
winner
of
2012.
Now,
a
series
of
movies
have
lined
up
for
the
release
in
a
span
of
10
days.
The
fire
works
will
begin
with
the
clash
of
two
most-awaited
films,
Yogaraj
Bhat's
Drama
and
Sumana
Kittur's
Edegarike,
followed
by
Prem
Adda
and
Veerappan
Attahasa
in
the
last
week
of
November.
These
four
movies
have
generated
a
lot
of
hype
in
the
recent
times
and
expected
to
pull
the
crowds
to
theatres
in
the
opening
weekend.
But
the
shortage
of
theatres
is
worrying
regular
Kannada
fans.
Firstly,
Kranthi
Veera
Sangolli
Rayanna
is
doing
good
business
in
most
of
the
theatres
and
the
film
is
unlikely
be
vacated
for
other
films.
Adding
to
that,
a
few
other
language
films
like
Jab
Taj
Hai
Jaan
and
Thuppakki
are
doing
well
here
and
that
means,
the
two
big
releases
will
have
less
number
of
screens
for
release.
However,
the
dates
of
the
release
of
Prem
Adda
and
Veerappan
Attahasa
are
not
officially
announced.
Traders
say
that
if
Drama
and
Edegarike
get
good
response
from
critics
and
audience,
Prem's
film
and
Arjun
Sarja's
flick
would
be
postponed
to
avoid
clash.
Well,
now
have
a
glimpse
at
this
week
releases,
Drama
or
Edegarike?
Who
has
the
edge?
Follow
the
slide...
Drama
v/s
Edegarike
Drama
undoubtedly
has
an
edge
over
Edegarike
due
to
the
brand
Yogaraj
Bhat.
Adding
to
that
the
film
stars
Yash
and
Radhika
Pandit
which
could
be
the
crowd-pulling
factor.

Edegarike
However,
Sumana
Kittur's
Edegarike
is
a
dark-horse
according
to
the
traders.
The
real-life
stories
are
attracting
audience
in
the
recent
times
and
as
the
film
is
based
on
former
underworld
don
and
journalist
Agni
Shreedhar,
it
could
attract
the
cine-goers.
Adding
to
that,
Sumana's
success
in
similar
attempts
on
earlier
occasion
could
help
the
movie
to
get
good
opening.

Drama
v/s
Edegarike
The
trailer
of
Edegarike
is
sleek
and
sharp.
Though
the
film
has
an
action
story,
it
is
for
family
and
mass
audience
just
like
Aa
Dinagalu.
According
to
makers,
neither
there
are
vulgar
scenes
nor
they
have
glorified
violence
in
Aditya
and
Atul
Kulkarni
starrer
film.

Will
these
movies
eat
each
other's
business?
Only
time
can
answer
but
audience
hope
that
there
is
a
healthy
competition
between
these
two
films.
