Ekta Kapoor unhappy with Kannada version of Dirty Picture!

Ekta Kapoor, who made The Dirty Picture, seems to be unhappy with the Kannada version of Silk Smitha's biopic, as she has opposed the usage of the title of the upcoming Sandalwood film. She has filed a complaint at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce against the makers of Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga.

Reacting to this, director Trishul has said that he is not ready to change the title of the film and reiterated that Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga is not a remake of Vidya Balan starrer superhit film. He says that the board has cleared the title and nobody can stop him from using the title, as there are many instances of other language titles being used in Kannada films.

Ekta Kapoor has reportedly given a five-day deadline and the KFCC is considering her request. Sources say that more drama on the issue is expected in the coming days.

Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga is produced by Venkatappa and it also features his son Akshay in the lead role. The movie also marks the debut of Pakistani actress Veena Malik in Sandalwood. The shooting of the film will take off on May 12.
