Golden
Star
Ganesh's
golden
days
seem
to
back,
as
his
recently
released
Romeo
has
emerged
as
a
winner.
The
movie,
which
faced
a
lot
of
competition
from
Sudeep's
Eega,
has
managed
to
keep
the
cash
registers
ringing,
thereby
bringing
profits
to
distributor
K
Manju,
who
had
bought
the
theatrical
rights
for
a
decent
price.
According
to
traders,
Romeo,
which
featured
Bhavana,
Rangayana
Raghu,
Sadhu
Kokila
in
important
roles,
has
fetched
around
Rs
2.5
crore
at
the
Box
Office.
It
is
said
to
be
a
good
collection
considering
the
competition
faced
by
the
movie
Eega,
Tamil
movie
Billa
2
and
other
Bollywood
movies.
The
movie
is
slowly
picking
up
at
the
Box
Office
and
during
weekends,
the
film
is
attracting
family
audience.
Romeo,
which
was
released
on
July
6
on
100+
screens,
got
mixed
reviews
from
critics
but
it
received
good
word-of-mouth
from
audience.
It
had
also
released
simultaneously
in
three
screens
in
the
US.
The
main
highlight
of
the
movie
is
the
content,
which
is
filled
with
out-and-out
comic
elements.
Meanwhile,
PC
Shekar
has
started
working
on
his
next
project,
which
will
also
feature
Ganesh.
The
same
Romeo
team
is
expected
to
join
hands
again.
