K Manju seems to be adamant on his stand on Godfather release

K Manju seems to be adamant on his stand on Godfather release, as the attempts of Upendra, Munirathna and others to change his decision have failed to come to fruition. Indeed, the filmmaker choose to skip the audio launch function of Katari Veera Surasundarangi (KSV), which was held on April 19 at Gayathri Vihar, to show his unhappiness over the KVS bosses.

Manju, who met Upendra and Munirathna along with other industry members to discuss about the ongoing release controversy at Uppi’s residence on April 19, walked out midway after he was suggested to postpone his Godfather for at least three months. The filmmaker, who is desperate to release his film before Katari Veera Surasundarangi, was fuming when he left the place claiming that he was not ready to compromise because his film was been in the making since a year.

Later, Upendra called and requested him to attend the audio launch function of Katari Veera Surasundarangi to cool the situation and find a workable formula. But, K Manju opted out of the event. Meanwhile, Munirathna has announced that he is going ahead with his plans with a minor change. He has pushed the release by a week due to the delay in the post-production works.
