The
days
of
two
leading
male
stars'
movies
releasing
on
a
same
day
and
fighting
to
have
supremacy
at
the
Box
Office
are
over.
Now,
it
seems
to
have
taken
over
by
female
leads.
This
Friday,
we
are
going
to
witness
one
of
the
rarest
battles
of
movies
starring
top
actresses.
Well,
Bollywood
actress
Kareena
Kapoor
and
South
actress
Priyamani,
who
had
earlier
done
a
small
role
in
Abhishek
Bachchan's
Raavan,
are
clashing
with
their
respective
movies
-
Heroine
and
Charulatha.
As
per
the
trade
reports,
Kareena
Kapoor's
Heroine
has
an
edge
over
Priyamani's
Charulatha,
as
the
Bollywood
movie
is
releasing
in
record
number
of
2,400
screens.
On
the
other
end,
Charulatha
is
releasing
in
only
500+
screens
in
India
in
four
languages.
However,
going
by
the
number
of
screens,
one
would
easily
predict
that
the
Bollywood
film
would
overshadow
the
multilingual
flick.
But
the
traders
say
that
the
South
movie
will
give
a
tough
competition
to
Heroine,
as
Priyamani
is
very
popular
in
all
four
languages.
The
concept
and
the
marketing
of
Charulatha
have
drawn
the
audience
attention
down
South
and
it
would
affect
the
collections
of
the
Kareena
Kapoor
starrer
movie
in
Karnataka,
Tamil
Nadu,
Andhra
Pradesh
and
Kerala.
Nonetheless,
Kareena
Kapoor's
Heroine
is
expected
to
make
a
huge
collection
than
Priyamani
considering
the
number
of
screens.
It
is
also
said
that
the
posters
of
the
movies
featuring
Kareena
in
revealing
outfits
have
attracted
the
masses
and
this
could
help
the
movie
get
a
grand
opening.
Whereas,
the
avatars
of
conjoined
twins
played
by
Priyamani
in
Charulatha
has
drawn
all
section
of
audience
down
South.
While
Heroine
is
a
hard-hitting
movie,
which
revolves
around
an
actress,
Charulatha
is
a
story
of
conjoined
twins
or
Siamese
twins.
