The
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC)
has
intervened
to
resolve
the
rift
between
producers
Munirathna
and
K
Manju
over
the
releases
of
their
upcoming
movies
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
(KVS)-Godfather,
where
both
the
movies
star
Upendra.
It
has
found
a
temporary
solution
for
their
controversy
by
telling
them
that
the
movie
that
gets
censor
certificate
first
will
be
released
this
month.
K
Manju
approached
the
KFCC
asking
them
to
halt
the
release
of
Munirathna's
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi,
which
is
hitting
screens
on
April
27.
In
his
request,
he
had
claimed
that
his
Godfather
has
to
see
the
light
of
the
day
first,
as
it
is
in
the
making
for
over
12
months
and
KVS
has
to
be
delayed.
On
hearing
the
versions
of
both
the
parties,
the
chamber
said
that
the
movie,
which
gets
censored
first
will
be
released
this
month
27th
and
the
other
film
has
to
be
delayed
for
four
weeks.
Katari
Veera
Surasundarangi
directed
by
Suresh
Krishna
is
the
first
full-length
3D
Kannada
movie,
which
also
features
Ramya,
Ambareesh
and
Muthappa
Rai
in
the
lead
roles.
Whereas,
Godfather
is
the
remake
of
Tamil
film
Varalaaru
and
it
features
actress
Jayamala's
daughter
Soundarya,
Catherine
Tresa
and
Bhumika
Chawla.
