Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna rocks at Box Office on day 1

Incessant rain due to cyclone Nilam in Bangalore did not bother cine-goers to much-extent, as Darshan's Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna has got an amazing response from the audience. The movie, which was released on Thursday (November 1), has made a great business at the Box Office on day one.

The early reports emerging from the traders say that Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna has crossed Rs 3 crore at the Box Office. Not only in Bangalore but also in other parts of Karnataka like Mysore, North Karnataka regions have got a grand opening. This is said to be the highest-ever opening for a Darshan movie, claims a trade report.

A trader said, "The release time of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna was perfect, as the state was in the mood to celebrate the Rajotsava. The movie has got an average of 95% occupancy in most of the theatres. Interestingly, multiplexes in Bangalore ran for packed houses."

Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna is the biopic of the freedom fighter of the same name. Darshan plays the title character and veteran actress Jayapradha will be seen in the role of Rani Kittoor Chennamma. Actress Nikita has played the female lead opposite Darshan in the film.
