Nikita to turn Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture remake

Nikita Thukral, who rose to national prominence following Darshan's infamous wife-beating episode, has been offered a dream role. Well, the actress has been approached to enact the role played by Vidya Balan in Bollywood blockbuster The Dirty Picture.

Speaking to a leading daily, Nikita has confirmed that she has been offered the film and currently, she is reading the script. The 20-something believes that this is a dream role for any actress. The actress further adds that she liked Vidya Balan's character in The Dirty Picture.

Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture loosely based on the life of yesteryear sex siren Silk Smitha and other actresses. The movie, despite creating controversies for various reasons, had a bold content with the in-your-face dialogues.

However, the local version will be modified to cater the native audience, says Nikita.
