Why Nikita Thukral turn down Dirty Picture offer?

Nikita Thukral has spilled the bean on why she turned down the Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga reportedly made on the life of Silk Smitha. While many actresses were keen to act in the woman-centric film, the actress surprised the industry by refusing it because she realised that the film does not talk about the yesteryear sex siren rather about a prostitute.

Speaking to a leading daily, Nikita Thukral has said that Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga is not about Silk Smitha and the makers of the film are publicising to get publicity. After hearing the story, she felt that it has no connection with Silk and it is all about a sex worker. If audience come to theatres thinking that the Kannada film is made on the yesteryear sex siren, then the film will let down their expectations.

Nikita Thukral further adds that she has now been offered the Tamil version of The Dirty Picture. She has not given a nod, but she is likely to give a green signal for the proposed project. Meanwhile, Pakistani actress Veena Malik has been signed to act in Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga. The film will take off in May second week.
