By Ramchander
Tamil
actress
Pooja
Umashankar
has
hit
out
at
a
popular
journalist
for
making
false
claims
about
her
involvement
in
a
sleazy
video.
The
Kannada-born
babe
has
planned
to
take
legal
action
against
him,
as
he
has
failed
to
apologise
for
his
error.
The
leading
tabloid
owned
by
the
journalist
reported
last
month
that
Pooja
Umashankar's
sex
video
was
doing
rounds
on
the
internet
with
the
cover
page
title
–
Shringeri
Pooja
Blue
Filmnalli
Bettale
(Shringeri

Gets

Blue
Film).
Reacting
to
this
report,
Pooja
Umashankar
said,
“Ravi
Belagere
has
published
two
issues
with
the
above
mentioned
titled.
How
can
he
publish
without
getting
the
facts
right?
I
went
to
his
office
and
asked
whether
he
has
proofs.
But
he
too
was
not
sure
of
it.”
Talking
about
the
life
after
the
controversial
article,
Pooja
Umashankar
says,
“I
hail
from
a
respectable
family
and
this
article
has
completely
tarnished
our
family
reputation.
In
fact,
my
father,
who
was
in
Shringeri,
was
upset
with
the
development.”
“Now
that
he
has
not
apologised,
we
have
decided
to
file
a
defamation
case
against
the
journalist.”
