Priyamani's Charulatha off to a decent start at Box Office

Priyamani's Charulatha has opened up to good reviews by critics in Karnataka. The movie, which was released on September 21, has got a decent opening at the Kannada Box Office.

Released in over 110 screens in Karnataka, Charulatha has largely attracted the class and multiplex audience. A source from the production house says,"The movie has been well-received by multiplex audience. As it is not a regular movie, it has not impressed the mass audience."

"Generally, these kind of movies attract audience only in the following weeks. However, Charulatha is already a hit among the class audience. In the first weekend, it has somewhere earned around Rs. 1.10 crore," concludes the source.

Charulatha is a suspense-horror-thriller directed by P Kumar. The story of the film is about conjoined twins played by Priyamani and their love story. The movie is produced by Yogesh Dwarakish and it also features Skanda, Saranya PonvananSe, Seetha, Ravi Shankar and others in the cast.
