Rajamouli's father decides fate of Upendra's prestigious film

Prasad,
the
father
of
filmmaker
SS
Rajamouli,
had
earlier
written
quite
a
few
scripts
for
Kannada
films,
including
late
Vishnuvardhan's
hit
movie
Appaji.
Now,
he
is
all
set
to
return
to
Sandalwood
with
a
prestigious
project,
which
will
star
none
other
than
Real
Star
Upendra.
Upendra
and
Dr
Vishnuvardhan
were
supposed
to
work
in
a
period
film
titled
Yuge
Yuge.
It
was
a
dream
project
of
Vishnu-filmmaker
TS
Nagabharana.
About
16
writers
had
worked
on
the
script
and
there
were
positive
vibes
about
the
project
but
when
everything
started
falling
into
place,
there
emerged
some
creative
differences
between
the
writers
on
the
climax
of
the
movie.
It
made
the
movie
bosses
to
put
the
film
on
hold.
Later,
Dr
Vishnuvardhan's
death
almost
sealed
the
fate
of
the
historical
flick.
However,
now
the
makers
of
Yuge
Yuge
have
revived
the
project
and
approached
S
Vijayendra
Prasad
to
give
a
final
shape
to
the
script
and
climax.
It
is
also
said
that
Shivaraj
Kumar
is
likely
to
do
the
role,
which
was
offered
to
Vishnuvardhan.
The
movie
will
be
produced
by
Rockline
Venkatesh.
