Rajinikanth-Shatrughan urge Ambi to quit smoking

As the world is celebrating World No Tobacco Day on May 31, Ambareesh got a call to quit the cancerous habit on his birthday from his celebrity friends. Well, superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha urged the Rebel Star to quit smoking at his birthday celebrations held at the Palace Grounds on May 29.

Speaking at the occasion, Rajinikanth said that Ambareesh knows that smoking is injurious to health but he is not willing to quit the habit. On his turn, Shatrughan Sinha recalled how they (Rajini, Ambi and him) had set the stylish era of smoking. But he bid goodbye to the habit several years ago and now the Tamil superstar has also given up smoking. However, he suggested the Rebel Star to quit it on this World No Tobacco Day.

On the special occasion, Rajinikanth also claimed that he had gone to watch Ambareesh's first film Nagarahavu. What had impressed him in the film was Ambi's trick of throwing cigarette and putting it between his lips. The South Indian superstar, who is known for his idiosyncratic style, added that he loved the scene and he aped it in one of his movies.
