I'll launch my son this year: Ravichandran

Multifaceted Ravichandran is working round the clock to finish all his pending movies. The Crazy Star is not only occupied with as many as five films but also the actor is gearing up to launch his son in Kannada film industry. He spoke to our correspondent on politics, his future projects and about his son's launchpad. Here are the excerpts of the interview.

Sandalwood actors are recognizing themselves with different political parties. Do you have any such plans?
When we cannot solve the issues of our own industry, there is no point in joining politics. People, who are not capable of turning around the things here, will not make any difference there too. I have enough in my plate and I am happy with it.

Haven't you received offers from political parties?
Who are they to offer me? If I was interested in politics, I would have plunged into it long ago. Ravichandran means cinema, cinema means Ravichandran.

Tell us about your forthcoming movies.
Dashmukha is getting ready, Narasimha is hitting screens on 23rd March, Crazy Loka will release next month, and Paramashiva is in shooting stage.

What is the status of your much-awaited Manjina Hani?
It will take another six months to complete. The movie will have graphics in the first 20 minutes and the technicians are working on it. Indeed, it will be a magical.

We hear that you are planning to introduce your son.
I will be launching him this year. Wait four more months. Presently, he is taking lessons in voice modulation to get the tone right. I want him to be perfect in every department.

What happened to your brother Balaji aka Eshwara?
He seems to have lost interest in films. I am busy with Manjina Hani, my son's upcoming project and my films and that have left me with little time to think about others.
