Sandalwood to reunite for Ambareesh's birthday

Jalila of Nagarahaavu has come a long way ever since he appeared in a small role in legendary Puttana Kanagal's blockbuster film. With his unique style-mannerisms and non-controversial and do-gooder image, Ambareesh, fondly called as Kaliyuga Danashura Karna, has completed 40 years in Kannada film industry. To mark his contribution to the film industry and his 60th birthday, which falls on May 27, Sandalwood has planned a three-day event next month.

The news on the celebration was announced on Sunday (April 22) at a press meet organised by Ambareesh and attended by well-known personalities of Sandalwood. The film industry has declared a three-day holiday i.e., May 27-29, as there will be a huge celebration in the Palace Grounds. Many celebrities from other film industries, politicians and business magnets are expected to be at the meet. More details about the mega-event will be revealed soon.

Real Star Upendra, Challenging Star Darshan, Duniya Vijay, Shruti, Srinagara Kitty, Ramesh, Jaijagadish, Vijayalakshmi Singh, director S Narayan, producer Rockline Venkatesh and others were present at the press meet.
