Shivaraj Kumar-Rajendra Babu team up for a sports film

Actor Shivaraj Kumar and Rajendra Babu, the sensational jodi of hit movies like Preethse and Jodi, are ready to team up again. After working together in quite a few romantic movies, the duo is gearing up for a genre, which they have not done before. Well, they are all set for a movie based on sports.

A leading daily reports that Rajendra Babu is joining hands with Shivaraj Kumar after nine years and he has prepared a story where Shivanna will be seen in the role of an athletic coach. The director adds that the film is not a complete sports entertainer rather it is a mixture of love and sports.

The filmmaker further adds that the concept was born several years ago and he had discussed it during the making of Jodi Hakki. As they got busy with their films, it did not materialise. It is only from one year, he started working on the script and he is glad they the things have fell into place.

The movie has been titled Naa Ninna Mareyallare, the title of Dr Rajkumar and Lakshmi's yesteryear blockbuster film, and it is reportedly inspired by Bollywood film Chak De India starring Shahrukh Khan.
