Shivaraj
Kumar
has
not
registered
a
massive
hit
in
the
recent
years.
His
only
movie
to
garner
good
attention
in
the
last
few
years
was
his
100th
movie
Jogayya,
which
failed
to
live
up
to
the
audience
expectations.
Nonetheless,
the
Box
Office
catastrophes
have
not
bothered
him
to
much
extent,
as
offers
have
been
coming
his
way.
Now,
his
Shiva
directed
by
Om
Prakash
Rao
is
making
a
good
noise
in
the
Sandalwood.
Shiva
has
been
in
the
news
from
the
day
it
hit
the
floors.
The
movie
brings
the
formidable
combo
of
Shivaraj
Kumar
and
Om
Prakash
Rao,
which
have
earlier
delivered
hits
like
Simhada
Mari
and
AK
47.
The
movie
has
attracted
the
audience
with
its
stylish
looks
of
Shivaraj
Kumar
and
its
music.
The
sleek
trailers
have
added
fuel
to
the
expectations
of
the
audience.
The
movie,
which
was
supposed
to
be
released
for
Varamalakshmi
festival
(July
27),
delayed
due
to
the
completion
of
the
post-production
works.
It
was
later
said
that
it
would
hit
the
screens
on
August
10
but
was
postponed,
as
the
director
decided
to
add
more
colour
to
the
film
by
having
special
10-plus-minute
graphics
in
the
movie.
Now,
Shiva
has
passed
all
hurdles,
as
the
movie
has
been
cleared
by
the
Regional
Censor
Board.
The
board
has
chopped
few
scenes
and
has
given
'U/A'
certificate,
thus
paving
the
way
for
its
release
on
August
24.
The
film
is
likely
to
have
a
large
release
and
it
is
expected
to
hit
the
screens
in
140
theatres
in
Karnataka.
Shiva
is
produced
by
KP
Srikanth
and
it
has
Ragini
Dwivedi
in
the
female
lead
role.
