After Ambi Sambrama, Sandalwood's ready for Shivanna Suvarna Mahotsava

Sambrama,
an
event
that
was
organised
by
the
Kannada
film
industry
to
mark
the
60th
birthday
of
Ambareesh
and
his
successful
completion
of
40
years
in
the
industry.
Now,
Dr
Rajkumar's
family
is
keen
to
celebrate
the
golden
jubilee
celebration
of
Shivaraj
Kumar,
who
turned
50
on
July
12.
The
Shivaraj
Kumar
fans
association
has
announced
that
they
are
having
a
mega
event
on
August
8.
It
is
titled
Shivaraj
Kumar
Suvarna
Mahotsava
and
will
be
held
at
the
Chowdiah
Memorial
Hall.
The
function
is
not
only
about
glamour
and
a
get-together
of
the
film
industry.
The
first
family
of
the
Kannada
film
industry
is
taking
this
as
a
stage
to
help
the
needy.
The
surprising
part
of
the
story
is
that
the
Raj
family
is
not
looking
out
for
sponsors
since
they
want
to
give
back
something
to
the
society.
They
are
shelling
out
around
Rs.
50
lakhs
for
the
Shivaraj
Kumar
Suvarna
Mahotsava
for
which
Puneet
Rajkumar
has
donated
Rs.
10
lakhs.
Adding
to
that,
Shivaraj
Kumar
will
be
donating
a
lakh
each
for
five
Kannada
schools,
Rs
25,000
each
for
struggling
actors,
and
five
lakhs
will
be
donated
to
the
drought-affected
places
of
North
Karnataka.
The
family
is
also
helping
some
poor
families
by
gifting
20
autorickshaws.
Three
ambulances
will
also
be
launched
for
people's
service.
As
for
the
entertainment
aspect,
some
of
the
well-known
names
from
the
Kannada
film
industry
will
participate
in
the
event
and
will
entertain
the
audience
with
dances,
skits,
etc.
