The
incident
happened
in
a
hotel,
where
she
was
staying
and
she
was
immediately
rushed
to
the
Tirumala
Tirupati
Devasthanam-run
Sri
Venkateswara
Institute
of
Medical
Sciences
Hospital.
The
Nightingale
of
the
South
fell
down
in
the
bathroom
of
the
hotel
on
Tuesday.
She
suffered
the
injury
on
the
back
side
of
her
head
for
which
she
underwent
several
stitches
on
her
head.
The
doctors
have
said
that
S
Janaki
was
out
of
danger.
S
Janaki,
who
has
rendered
several
soul-stirring
melodies
in
many
Indian
languages,
including
Malayalam,
Kannada
and
Tamil,
was
in
Tirupati
to
attend
a
private
programme.
She
was
supposed
to
participate
in
Sri
'Annamacharya
Sankirtana
Yagnam',
which
was
performed
by
G
Balakrishna
Prasad
at
Mahati
auditorium.
