Surendra Babu's driver arrested in connection with actress Hemashree's death

Cops have managed to catch the driver of Surendra Babu in connection with actress Hemashree's mysterious death. He was absconding ever since the actress laid to rest.

On Friday morning (October 26), the investigating officers have arrested driver Sathish. They are expecting to get some crucial information from him about the actress and her untimely death, which is suspected as a murder.

Sources say that he has been working with Surendra Babu as his car driver for two years now. Though he left the job, once in between for the reasons best known to him, returned a few months ago for the same. Where was he all these days? Why was he missing? What is his role in the case? Police are expecting to get answers for all these questions from him.

However, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rajshekhar V Patil remanded Surendra Babu to judicial custody till November 3. Her hubby, a JDS worker and a realtor, was arrested on October 10 on the basis of a complaint filed by the father of the actress, who died under mysterious circumstances on October 9th.

Meanwhile, a postmortem report says that Hemashree had external injuries on her mouth, nose and forehead, but the final report is awaited.
