Upendra's directorial movie taking off on Sep 18

Real Star Upendra is ready to wear the director's hat again. The director-turned-actor, who is busy with multiple projects, is ready to direct a film again and it will reportedly take off on September 18 coinciding with his birthday.

The actor is reportedly all set to start the project. He is currently writing the script and it is very likely to be launched on his birthday next month. The movie will be produced by his wife and actress Priyanka Upendra on the banner Upendra Productions.

Uppi had earlier told Oneindia that he would make a sequel to his blockbuster film titled Upendra. But now, as per the latest reports, he will be making a political-satire like his previous movie Super. The Real Star is tight-lipped about the next project.

Meanwhile, Upendra is busy shooting his next releases Kalpana, a remake of Tamil superhit Kanchana, and Toppiwala for which he has penned the script. However, his proposed project Trivikrama to be directed by Om Prakash Rao has been reportedly shelved.
