Pictures: Upendra, Sudeep at Rajani Kantha music release function

It was a memorable evening for the people of Turuvekere, as some of the biggest names of Kannada film industry were present at Turuvekere to attend the audio launch function of Rajani Kantha held on Sunday (December 2). Thanks to K Manju, who brought in Upendra, Sudeep, Ganesh and many others to Turuvekere keeping his political plans in mind.

The audio launch function was grandly held at Gurubhavan Maidan in Turuvekere taluk, Tumkur district. Over 15,000 people from the region attended the function to get a glimpse of their favourite stars and the music release of Rajani Kantha. Ramesh Aravind, Upendra and K Manju started the function by lighting the lamp.

Kiccha Sudeep, Golden Star Ganesh, and Duniya Vijay unveiled the album and handed over the copies to the guest, who shared the dias with them. Shankare Gowda, Prasad of Samarth Ventures, and others were part of the event. But music director Arjun Janya and Aindrita Ray did not attend the event.

It was probably for the first time when Sudeep, Ganesh and Duniya Vijay came together at a public function.

Upendra and Ramesh Aravind's presence garnered good attention. People welcomed them by blowing whistles and cheered them up.

Fans were overjoyed when they spotted Sudeep, Ganesh and Vijay hugging and praising each other.

Rajani Kantha is directed by Pradeep Raj and produced by K Manju. Duniya Vijay will be seen in dual roles in the movie, which also features Aindrita Ray.

However, reports say that K Manju has plans to contest next general assembly election and the function was organised to boost his chance of winning. Click here to see the entire gallery of the event.
