Yash denies cheating allegations

Actor Yash was 'dramatically' dragged into a controversy on September 25 with a bunch of people accusing him of cheating them in a chit business. However, he has denied the accusations and has claimed that neither his parents nor him has cheated anyone in the chit business, which came to a grinding halt eight years ago.

On September 25, some of his neighbours in Paduvarahalli made allegations against Yash and said that the actor and his parents have cheated them in the chit business. They claimed that the actor owed them close to Rs 2 lakh, which was taken by the Yash's family eight years ago as investment. However, Yash has admitted that his family was running the chit business when he was young but as he found his feet in the cinema field, they shifted to Bangalore.

Yash further claims that the allegations are baseless and it is an attempt to tarnish his good image. "If we had cheated eight years ago, why were they silent all these years," the actor questions. Meanwhile, he has pinned his hopes high on his upcoming movie Drama, which also features Radhika Pandit, directed by Yogaraj Bhat.
