Actor HV Prakash killed in road accident

Actor HV Prakash, who met with a road accident on June 23, died on Sunday (June 30). He was 53 and survived by his wife and a son.

He breathed his last on Sunday around 3 pm at a private hospital in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. He had suffered injuries on June 23 after he met with an accident while he was travelling on his two wheeler.

HV Prakash was born in Hassan and residing in Rajajinagar. The actor, who started his acting in theatre, acted in over 17 films. Tuguve Krishnana, Matsara, Ondu Cinema Kathe, Ajagajantara, Keralida Kesari and Shwetagni are some of his films.

He had also acted in small screen in many tele-serials including Sihikahi, Paapa Pandu, Silly Lully, etc.

His last rites were performed today around 12 pm by his family members at Harishchandra Ghat. The film fraternity and television industry have expressed its condolences.
