Controversy
Broke
Out
Instantly
Soon
after
the
marriage,
the
issue
on
Chandrachuda's
first
marriage
broke
out.
Manjula
claimed
that
she
was
married
to
him
for
the
past
14
years
and
they
have
a
daughter,
Chukki.
Although
he
never
lived
with
his
wife,
he
often
visited
his
daughter,
accused
the
first
wife.
But
he
had
not
sought
divorce
from
her.
Shruthi
Expressed
Shock
Later,
Shruthi
too
expressed
her
shock
and
claimed
that
her
hubby
has
cheated
her.
However,
the
actress
said
that
she
would
fight
for
Manjula
and
ensure
that
she
gets
justice.
"Like
me,
she
is
also
a
woman
and
I
understand
her
situation," she
had
told
a
leading
TV
channel.
Shruthi
To
Fight
For
Justice
The
yesteryear
actress,
who
was
once
a
chairperson
of
the
Karnataka
State
Women
and
Child
Welfare
Commission,
said
that
she
trusted
Chandrachud
too
much.
Now
that
the
matter
is
in
the
court,
she
doesn't
like
to
talk
much
about
the
issue.
Shruthi
Well,
Shruthi's
absence
has
now
made
people
to
question
her
credibility
on
her
earlier
stand
on
fighting
to
get
justice
to
Manjula.
Shruthi-Mahender
On
the
other
end,
actress
Shruthi,
who
had
married
director
S
Mahender
earlier,
ended
their
13-year-old
marriage
in
2011.
The
ex-couple
parted
ways
on
mutual
consent
due
to
irreconcilable
differences.
They
had
filed
for
the
divorce
in
early
2009.
The
court
granted
the
custody
of
their
only
child
to
Shruthi.
