After Vishnuvardhan-Ravichandran, Yash To Play Ramachari

Ramachari, which is an evergreen name in Sandalwood, is not only used to name the characters but also for the movies in Kannada film industry. First it was Sahasa Simha Dr Vishnuvardhan, who played the role Ramachari in the movie Naagarahaavu, later crazy star Ravichandran gave a musical hit in the year 1991, with the movie Ramachari.

Now, Kannada famous producer Jayanna has geared up to introduce new Ramachari to Kannada industry, by naming his upcoming flick as Mr & Mrs Ramachari.

It is said that actor Yash has been roped in to play the role of Mr Ramachari in the movie along with Radhika Pandit as Mrs Ramachari. According to sources, shooting for this film will start once the actor completes Gaja Kesari. Coincidentally, this will be the fifth consecutive film for producer duo Jayanna and Bhogendra with Yash in the lead, after Jaanu, Drama, Googly and Gaja Kesari.

Talking to a leading daily, Jayanna said, "It is not only popular, but also suits characters of different temperaments. For Dr Vishnuvardhan, it sounded powerful, for Ravichandran it was romantic, for Jaggesh it worked for comedy and so on. It can be rustic and urbane at the same time."

Ramachari To Star After Gaja Kesari

Producer said, "The name was suggested by a debutant director. I will name and introduce him only next month. The film will start as soon as we wrap up Gaja Kesari."

Jayanna Has Kept His Promise

When asked about making the fifth film with the same lead actor, Jayanna said, "I had promised that even my next film would be with Yash. I have kept my word."

Ramachari Character

Ramachari character was introduced by Kannada's famous novelist Ta Ra Subbarao, which was first used in the movie Naagarahaavu.

Naagarahaavu

The movie was based on the three novels 'Sarpamathsara,' 'Ondu Gandu Eradu Hennu' and 'Naagarahaavu', which was written by Ta Ra Subbarao. It was directed by SR Puttana Kanagal

Ramachari Movie

The evergreen name was used by crazy star Ravichandran for his movie Ramachari. The movie also marked the debut of Malashree.

Alli Ramachari Illi Brahmachari

Actor Jaggesh also played the role of Ramachari in the comedy thriller Alli Ramachari Illi Brahmachari.
