Angry Young Man Sudeep set for Bachchan 2

The success of recently released Kannada movie Bachchan has paved way for its next instalment. The combo of Sudeep and Shashank, which worked big time, is ready to team up again. But the only disappointing factor is that they would be joining hands after two years, i.e., in 2015.

Director Shashank confirmed the news to us and said, "I'm extremely happy to share that the public demand in various social media networks and the big success of Bachchan have inspired us to make Bachchan 2. And it will be launched in 2015."

Giving further information about the proposed project, the director adds, "The tagline of the film will be - Angry Young Man Returns. But it will not be a sequel to Bachchan and will have a different story." It is interesting to note that how the director will come up with and what the director will offer to the audience as the first instalment completely revolved around a few specific characters.

The talks over the remake rights of Bachchan are still on. The makers of the film are yet to decide whether to sell the remake rights or to dub the film in other languages.

On the other end, the producer of the film has been offered close to Rs 4 crore over the dubbing rights. The film is likely to be dubbed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Of four languages, the Telugu version is in huge demand, as Kiccha Sudeep has a decent market in Andhra Pradesh after the success of last year blockbuster Telugu film Eega.

There were also buzz that Bollywood star Ajay Devgn would be starring in the remake of Bachchan. But nothing has been confirmed by the producer or the director.

As far the Box Office collection is concerned, Bachchan is rocking at the collection centres. In the first week itself, the film raked in Rs 8 crore and continued its dream run in the second week too.
