Bipasha Basu To Debut In Kannada Films?

Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu is likely to make her debut in Kannada films. The Bong Babe has been reportedly approached to play an important role in upcoming Sandalwood flick Maamu Tea Angadi.

Sources from the production house say that the makers of Maamu Tea Angadi wanted to cast either Kajol Devgn or Bipasha Basu. Now, they have zeroed in on the latter. The offer has been made and she is likely to act in the Kannada flick. It may be recalled that there were a few efforts earlier to bring her in Kannada movies. But nothing was materialised for some reasons.

Maami Tea Angadi has many interesting things. A song from the movie has been jointly crooned by heroes - Srinagar Kitty, Ajay Rao, Prem Kumar and Yogish. They will also be seen in their real life roles in the flick.

Varun Sangam of Hindi reality shows Dance India Dance and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is also acting in Maamu Tea Angadi. The movie mainly has newcomers in the lead role.

Varun, Abhishek, Rithish, Mahesh, Rithesh, Rashi Singh, Archana Singh and Sangeetha Bhat are in the lead roles. The story is about the theme of friendship. Honnavalli Krishna, Bank Janardhan, Biredar, Mahesh Juneja, Layaendra, Rekha Das and others are in the cast.

While Rajesh Ramanath has composed the music, MU Nandakumar is handling the camera.
