Celebrate Dasara Festival With 'Uppi 2 Unknownu'

It's a known fact that superstar Upendra has geared up to direct Uppi 2, which is getting ready under his home banner Upendra Productions. The actor inaugurated his home banner and started the shooting of Uppi 2, on his 45th birthday, which was celebrated in Gayathry Vihar, Palace Grounds, Bangalore, on September 18, 2013.

The sizzling event, which witnessed many superstars of the Kannada industry, will now be a feast for Uppi's fans and Kannada audience, who missed the event on Sep 18th. Suvarna channel, which was the media partner of the event, is telecasting the recorded event on October 13, at 5.30 pm.

Uppi 2 is the sequel of the movie Upendra, which was released in 1999. Uppi 2 will be produced by Priyanka Upendra and CR Mohan. Uppi also started the non-profit organisation, Uppi foundation, which will be working for the social welfare programs. The main motto of this organisation is to create awareness about the importance of education for girl child.

The event was graced by famous Kannada stars like Shivraj Kumar, Ravichandran, Puneeth Rajkumar, Jagesh and others. The event was hosted by Kannada Bigg Boss fame Anushree, and Dileep Raj. Also veteran actresses like Jayanthi, Jayamala and Hema Chaudhary had graced the event.
