Chandrika Turns Item Girl
Yesteryear actress Chandrika, who had acted with some of the big names of her time, made her comeback to acting a few years ago. She returned with multi-starrer Sri Naga Shakti directed by Om Sai Prakash. But it did not fetch her desired results.
When Chandrika was approached to be part of Bigg Boss Kannada reality show hosted by Kiccha Sudeep. The 38-year-old did not have a second thought about it. She grabbed the offer with both hands. Well, the show gave her a good publicity, and the younger generation which was not aware much of her, was impressed by the actress.
The actress, like her earlier days, has maintained a good figure and that had taken many by surprise. After completing her Bigg Boss Kannada assignment, good number of offers started coming her way and she became choosy. Now, the actress has given a nod to act in an item number. The director has confirmed the news and said, "We thought Chandrika would be perfect for this song. And when we approached her, she gladly accepted it. The song is a social satire which will surely entertain the audience."

He continues, "The song has been completely shot at night. Madan Harini has choreographed the song." The team has completed major portions of the movie and it is gearing up for the next schedule in Hampi and Bagalkot.
