Dilwala Is Second Premaloka: Anil

Kannada movie Dilwala, which is all set to hit screen, tomorrow, October 4, has become much anticipated movie amongst the youths. Anil, who is directing the romantic thriller said that the movie is like a second Premaloka, which was released in the year 1987.

Speaking to a leading daily, director Anil said, "Dilwala will be admired by the youths of this generation, like how Premaloka was admired then. Audience are already impressed by the songs, number 'Ethakond hode' has become a super hit among the listeners."

Premaloka was the debut of crazy star Ravichandran and Juhi Chawla, which became a musical hit of the year. Hamsalekha had scored the music for the movie.

Anil, became famous as a mass director in Kannada film industry, with his debut Shakthi starring Malashree in the lead role. Now, he has done a romantic thriller, which is based on the life of college going youths.

Anil also said that many senior artists, who watched the movie has appreciated him, and concluded Dilwala is second Premaloka. "I was overwhelmed with their blessings and I expect the same from the audience," Anil added.

He also expressed his gratitude for the support of Shailendra Babu, without which he would have not done this movie, and Dilwala has been made with a limited budget. It features Sumanth Shailendra and Radhika Pandit in the lead roles.
