Duniya Vijay to open up on his divorce issue today

Duniya Vijay, who hit the headlines for all wrong reasons over his divorce issue recently, seems to be finally ready to open up on the issue. The actor, in spite of defending himself on television channels, has claimed that he would be talking to media on Thursday (January 31) to clarify the questions related to the controversy.

In a press release, the actor has invited media to a star hotel for the press conference. Vijay said, "My parents are everything to me and media is my mentor. Whatever I am today is because of my parents and media."

"I believed and practised 5Ds - Devotion, discipline, decision, determination, and dedication - in my life. And this controversy has disturbed me a lot. So, to open up on the issue, I will appear before the media. I am ready to take whatever stand taken by the media on the issue," he concluded.

The controversy over his marriage dispute broke on January 18 after he appeared before a family court. Later, his estranged wife accused him of ill-treating her and blamed actress Shubha Poonja for this trouble. On the other end, Vijay claimed that his wife was mentally torturing his family and him. Hence, he sought the divorce.
