Bollywood
music
director
Ismail
Darbar
will
be
reportedly
composing
music
for
Shivaraj
Kumar's
historical
movie
Kabir.
An
offer
from
the
makers
of
the
movie
have
been
made
and
he
has
accepted
the
same.
Ismail
Darbar
had
won
the
National
Award
for
his
debut
Hindi
movie
Hum
Dil
De
Chuke
Sanam.
His
work
in
Shahrukh
Khan
starrer
Devdas
had
taken
him
to
new
heights.
Both
movies
were
directed
by
acclaimed
filmmaker
Sanjay
Leela
Bhansali.
But
later
they
parted
ways
and
the
music
director's
career
saw
a
downhill.
As
the
genre
perfectly
suits
Ismail
Darbar,
the
makers
of
Kabir
approached
him.
The
upcoming
Kannada
flick
is
made
on
the
life
and
times
of
15th
century
saint
Kabir.
Shivaraj
Kumar
will
be
seen
in
the
title
role.
The
film
is
directed
by
Narendra
Babu
of
Kabbadi
fame
and
the
movie
will
have
Kabir's
famous
Dohas.
It
has
to
be
noted
that
late
Dr
Rajkumar
had
done
a
movie
on
Kabir
titled
Mahatma
Kabir.
Shivanna,
who
generally
doesn't
accept
movies
which
were
earlier
done
by
his
father,
agreed
to
this
because
he
believes
in
Kabir's
philosophies.
The
film
is
expected
to
go
on
the
floors
by
the
end
of
the
year.
Other
details
about
the
cast
and
crew
are
awaited.
