Lucia Releasing In Pakistan!

Kannada movie Lucia, which was critically acclaimed by the audience is likely to get released in the neighboring country, Pakistan. It is said that the movie review, which was published by the Pakistan daily, The Express Tribune, has caught the attention of the Pakistani moviegoers.

Sources said that this is the positive sign for Sandalwood, as none of the Kannada movies have been released in the neighboring countries. As, Lucia has caught the attention of International audience, it is likely to get released in Pak and other countries, like several Bollywood movies.

Lucia, which was released on September 6, is still doing good in the Box Office, and it was said it is a different attempt in Kannada cinema. The movie has Sathish Neenasam and Shruthi Hariharan in the lead roles. It talks about, how protagonist Sathish suffers from Insomania.

Before the release, Lucia the won the coveted Audience Award at the fourth London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) in July this year. The movie is produced by the inventive crowd and directed by Pawan Kumar of Lifeu Istene fame. He has also worked under Yograj Bhat, in the movie like Paramathma and Pancharangi.

Lucia was also selected for the nomination list of Oscar awards, under the Best Foreign language film category along with Darshan's Kranthiveera Sangolli Raayanna.
