Manjula Gururaj Croons For Shravani Subramanya

Kannada's famous playback singer Manjula Gururaj has crooned a song in the movie Shravani Subramanya. It has Golden Star Ganesh and Amulya in the lead roles.

It is said that after eight years Manjula Gururaj is giving her voice for the film song. She is crooning for the track 'Kudidare thale dim annabeku', which is composed by Prof Krishne Gowda.

Suresh, producer of Shravani Subramanya said, "It is a folk song that has been given a commercial touch." It is reported that Parul Yadav of 'Pyarge aagbitaithe' fame will shake leg for the special number along with the female lead Amulya. The shooting of the song is started today, and expected to complete in three days.

Manjula Gururaj gained the popularity in Sandalwood from 'Ollage seridare gundu' from the movie Nanjundi Kalyana, which marked the on-screen debut of Raghavendra Rajkumar and Malashree. She has sung nearly two thousand songs is seven languages.

Shravani Subramanya is directed by Manju Swaraj, who paired up the successful pair of Cheluvina Chithara - Ganesh and Amulya after six years. The master of music V Harikrishna has scored the music for the movie, which also features Ananth Nag, Tara Anuradha, Sadhu Kokilla, Mandya Ramesh and Neenasam Ashwath in the important roles.
