Pics: Meghna Naidu's 'Beeja Beeja' item song in trouble

Meghna Naidu's item number in forthcoming Kannada film Parari has been released. It has been choreographed by Harsha and has hit the bull's eye as it has been getting good response on internet.

Director KM Chaitanya has released it on YouTube. On his Facebook account, he wrote, "Here comes - BEEJA BEEJA - the first song we are releasing from my latest film Parari. Lyrics by Nagendra Prasad, Choreographed by Harsha and composed by Anoop Seelin. Featuring Meghna Naidu. Please share!"

However, the song has not gone well with the Regional Censor Board as it has objected for the lyrics and Meghna Naidu's costume. The usage of the word Shiva and the saffron cloth sported by the actress have put the track in trouble.

The censor board believes that the word 'Bangi' which means marijuana, Shiva and the saffron t-shirt hurt the sentiments of a religious group. Their rules does not allow to use a God's name in a sensual track. Hence, it has raised objections. The director is not happy with the board's decision as he claims that the mentioning God's name would not hurt anyone, as it does not deride the God.

Nonetheless, he has responded to the board's call by changing the word Shiva to Jeeva. But he has requested the board to reconsider it.
