Bigg Boss Kannada, which became a sensation on Sandalwood small screens, has finally come to an end. With Vijay Raghavendra winning the first season, the 98-day entertaining journey came to halt on Sunday (June 30).
The show began with a lot of expectations as it was pitted directly against the Puneet Rajkumar hosted game show, Kannadada Kotyadipati. Well, the Sudeep anchored show lived up to the audience expectations and garnered huge TRPs.
A total of 15 members participated in the show and there were a few, who came into the house as special guests. Narendra Babu Sharma, Vijay Raghavendra, Aparna, Chandrika, Nurse Jayalakshmi, Arun Sagar, Sanjjanna Galrani, Nikita Thukral, Vinayak Joshi, Thilak, Rohan Gowda, Rishkia Singh, Anushree, Rishi Kumara and Shweta Pandit were the contestants.
Yogish, Rajesh of Halli Huduga Pyatege Bandha fame, and a few were special guests in the first edition of Bigg Boss Kannada. Almost every weekend, one person was eliminated and only four members made it to the finals.
Narendra Babu Sharma, Nikita Thukral, Arun Sagar and Vijay Raghavendra were the inmates who survived till the last. Vijay and Arun were the last two contestants of which the former won the Bigg Boss title.

What Vijay Won?
Vijay Raghavendra was given a trophy along with Rs 50 lakhs cash prize. The actor was also part of a road show conducted by ETV.

After winning the trophy, Vijay Raghavendra thanked the Bigg Boss house, and also said that Arun Sagar was much-deserving than him.
A Treasured Experience
Vijay Raghavendra also recalled the memories inside the house and claimed that he would treasure this experience. The actor's family including father-producer SA Chinne Gowda and wife Spandana were present on the show.
Arun Sagar Not Disappointed?
However, his close contestant, Arun Sagar appeared to be happy for him and did not show any sign of disappointment. In fact, he went on to say that Vijay was the better choice than him to win the Bigg Boss title.
The Road Does Not Ends Here...
Arun Sagar also said that this was not an end of life rather he felt that he has a better thing in store. However, his fans were not happy and many on social networking sites expressed that Arun deserved to be the winner than anybody else.

Well, as the Bigg Boss show has come to an end, people are now wondering what to watch in the time slot of 8-9 pm. After continuously watching for 98 days, people are obviously wondering about what to watch in the coming days.
