Poonam Pandey's Remuneration For Item Number!

Trust model turned actress Poonam Pandey to be in news for all the wrong reasons! The actress, who made her Sandalwood debut with an item number in Love Is Poison is in news again.

However, the latest news surrounding her concerns her remuneration for the item song in Love Is Poison. Poonam Pandey has revealed that the crew has paid her a whooping amount of Rs. 5 Crore to do the item number!

Poonam, who is surprised with the remuneration amount has said that even heroines don't get paid that much huge amount. "I am not revealing what I got. But yes, when I heard the money that they were offering, I kind of fell back. I reeled back and gulped. I wondered if I had heard right. Utne paise toh heroines ko bhi nahin milte," Poonam wrote on her micro-blogging site.

The item number featuring Poonam Pandey is a colloquial number, which was shot against the Dhaba kind of set. It also features the hero and few of his friends celebrating the hero's love life. The movie feature late actor Rajesh of Halli Hyda Pyaateg Banda fame in the lead role.

Sources from Gandhinagara has said that it is just a publicity stunt, not even top actors of Sandalwood are paid such huge amount. They also quoted that Poonam's statement about the renumeration for five minute song is nothing less than a joke.
