Priyamani Will Not Turn Muthulakshmi

Last year, we saw a biopic on forest brigand Veerappan. Now, the stage is getting ready to make a movie on his wife Muthulakshmi. The hunt for the title role is on and it was reported that Priyamani would be playing the lead role in the movie. But the actress has now denied the news.

Reports claimed that Priyamani was approached by the makers of Muthulakshmi and she had accepted the offer. But the actress has something different to say. According to her, someone had approached last year for the role, but she had rejected the offer then.

Recently, nobody has approached Priyamani for the movie, claims the actress. Muthulakshmi is directed by Jagadish of Kempa fame and it is coming up with the tagline - Wife of Veerappan. Other cast and crew are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Priyamani, who is busy with Malayalam movie Painting Life, has bagged Darshan's Ambareesh. The actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines.
